The UK SEDS Conference is coming to Guildford in 2009!

The Surrey Space Society members are students at the University of Surrey Space Centre, leaders of UK space research. This year we're putting on the biggest and best UK SEDS conference yet, taking advantage of the extensive campus facilities. We are putting on a two day event consisting of talks from lecturers and speakers from around the world, covering the entire spectrum of space science and technology: planetary exploration, astronomy, physics, geology and planetary sciences.

The exhibition will have stands giving hands on interaction with space activities and the UK space industry; with displays of moon rocks and meteorites, industrial representatives from UK space employers, space technology demonstrations and entheusiast societies.

We will also be holding additional evening activties on the 7th. An evening lecture and debate featuring a group of promenent speakers concentrating on how the UK is involved with past, current and future space missions will follow the main events of the day.

An evening social and live music is being held at a campus bar after the evening lecture. Accommodation will be cheap so this is a chance to celebrate you, the next generation of UK space engineers and scientists!
